Our Core Values
Core Values are those things that we try to emphasize in our ministry. They also serve as a gauge to judge the effectiveness of our ministry.
Continuous Prayer: Recognizing our own inadequacy, we seek to pray in all circumstances; exercising faith in God for the expansion of His Kingdom.
Evangelism: Using all appropriate means to share the gospel, demonstrating the love and forgiveness of Christ with our lives and words.
Relevant Worship: Exalting the person of Christ through a celebrative and meditative experience that draws us to the heart of God.
Relational Fellowship: Recognizing the common union we have in Christ, we humbly seek to foster unity within the body of Christ. This includes identifying and utilizing the spiritual gifting of all members.
Personal Holiness: Living out the reality of the gospel through obedience to Scripture, reflective application of the spiritual disciplines, and allowing the Spirit to produce fruit in our lives.
Biblical Training: Acknowledging the authority of the Scriptures in all aspects of life and conduct, we seek to lead those in our care to the point of a vital, mature faith in Christ.
Leadership Training: Identifying and equipping recognized leaders (both current and future) for work in the Kingdom, in order that they may be used in the establishment and multiplication of churches throughout the world.
Church Planting: Maintaining a strong desire to see the multiplication of New Testament churches in Kansas City and throughout the world, planting and establishing churches and training leaders.
