The Good News
The good news? God has made a way to bridge that gap! That way is Jesus Christ, his son.
Jesus said...
"I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." (John 14:6)
The Bible also tells us...
God demonstrates His own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. (Romans 5:8)
Why would God let His son die in our place? So that we can live. God sent Jesus to die in our place and pay the penalty for our sins.
For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life. (John 3:16)
